Upcoming Closed Dates: The library will be CLOSED Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 for Easter!
Preschool Story Time: Please note a date change for a previously scheduled Story Time! The April 8 Story Time will now be held on April 15 so that staff may attend a Programming Workshop!
Saturday Morning Hours: We are open from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Saturdays!
Paws to R.E.A.D.: We are excited to continue offering a Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.) Program. The next program will be held Tuesday, May 13 from 5:30-7:00 pm. Children may choose library books to read or bring a book from home to read to a dog! PLEASE SEE EVENTS PAGE FOR DETAILS!
National Library Week Contests: National Library Week is April 13-19. Culver's Drawing Contest for children will take place the month of April. During the dates of April 10-17, patrons will have the chance to enter a drawing for a chance to win one of three different gift baskets. PLEASE SEE EVENTS PAGE FOR DETAILS!
Book Club: Jamie Ford's "Songs of Willow Frost" will be discussed on Thursday, April 24 at 6:00 p.m. New members are always welcome! You can request a copy by using our online catalog above, stopping at the library, or by calling us at 583-4325.
Preschool Story Time: Our Story Time theme for the Winter/Spring Session is "Let's Learn About Animals". We will focus on a different animal each week with stories, games, music, a craft, a snack and much more! Story Time will be held every other Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. and will last approximately 45 minutes. PLEASE SEE EVENTS PAGE FOR DETAILS!
Zinio Digital Magazines: Zinio offers digital copies of your favorite magazines. You have access to 100 popular magazine titles with your library card and an email address!! The funding for this service is sponsored by Mid-Wisconsin Federated Library System.
With Zinio, you can read magazines on your computer or mobile device. You must first set up a Zinio Library Account with your library card number and an email address. Your Zinio Library Account allows you access to the MWFLS collection of magazines. The website to access Zinio is www.rbdigital.com/midwisconsinwi/zinio.

The Brownsville Library is part of the S.H.A.R.E. (Shared Holding and Resource Exchange) Consortium consisting of 51 libraries in Dodge, Jefferson, Racine, Walworth, and Washington counties. Member library card holders have access to the collections of all member libraries through the online catalog.
